Dear Family around the global,
Greetings at 12:32AM from the New Delhi Airport! In 2008, in Chennai, India, Raja & Debs Rajan decided to join the New Movement by faith united with us in the 5 Core Convictions! Only 7 gathered in their living room that first service! Elena & I visited visited them in 2009!
On the McKeans first visit to the Rajans 10 years ago, they presented the Rajan children – Ashwin, Shefali and Isheeta – with Bibles!
Today, 400 gathered for the SAMC Sunday Worship! Amazingly, 32 were baptized after church! These new brothers and sisters came from the Indian Family of Churches in Chennai (India), Bangalore (India), New Delhi (India), and Kathmandu (Nepal)!
At the end of the Worship Service, the “32“ lined up after their “good confessions” to sing the “Glory Song” and then to be baptized!
Yassa Green – the Kathmandu WML – greeted one of the three baptized from Kathmandu!
Then, on Sunday evening, I received a call from Raja asking me to “count the cost” with his son – Ashwin Elijah Rajan! The SAMC had touched Ashwin’s heart and he prayed that God would send someone to guide him to baptism! God answered his prayer as Dean Lam – the Hong King Evangelist – reached out to Ashwin! At about 9:30PM, Ashwin was baptized into Christ by Raja, Debs and Dean!
All 5 in the Rajan Family is now united in Christ!
So, in one day, God added 33 by baptism to the India Family of Churches! And to God be all the glory!
