“My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about therighteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” James 1:19-21
The Book of James is my all-time favorite book. The brother os Jesus is so bold and practical. He also drew so much of his letter from the teachings of Jesus, especially the Sermon on the Mount.
It’s obvious that James understands the connection between nature and the spirit of our great and awesome God because he has twenty-nine references to nature in this power-packed letter to the twelve tribes of Israel!
4X5A9394As we study the book of James together I hope you come to deeper convictions about righteousness and my prayer is for God to honor the progress in your faith and to honor everything you do in your life as you worship and serve him!
